Blue Mars Makeup Contest: Create a Custom Cosmetics Layer for BLU$ Prizes!

It's contest time again! This time we're giving out BLU$ for sharing your gorgeous Blue Mars Makeup designs. The ability to create, customize, and share cosmetics layers sets the Martian fashionista apart from the crowd, and it's also one of the most accessible content creation tools in Blue Mars. From sultry smokey eyes to dramatic and artistic designs, the possibilities are limitless -- we want to see what kind of makeup madness you digital divas can come up with, so today we're announcing an awesome cosmetics contest with oodles of BLU$ prizes:

• 1000 BLU$ will be awarded to the first 10 people who post on Facebook or Plurk (these must be sent by separate individuals - no alt accounts or we'll know!)
• 2500 BLU$ will be awarded to the semi-finalists
• 5000 BLU$ will be awarded to the finalist

In addition to the BLU$ prizes, the semi-finalist and finalist will both have their cosmetics layers featured for download on the Blue Mars blog! Here's how to enter:

• Make a cosmetic layer in the Blue Mars Face Editor. Blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, anything unique and striking!
• Take a screenshot of your avatar wearing it
• Export and save the cosmetics layer (details on how to do this here!)
• Upload your screenshot to Facebook or your Plurk account if you have one, and label it "My Blue Mars make-up entry, [your Blue Mars username]"
• Email a link to your screenshot and your username to iris [at] bluemarsonline.com

Be sure to submit your entry before 12:00am PST on November 29th to qualify, but the sooner you submit, the better a chance you have at the early bird prize of 1000 BLU$!
