Blue World Style: Dressed to Impress in Blue Mars' IDIA

Though there's no shopping at IDIA Lab(Blink site here), it's easily the most one of the most beautiful cities in all of Blue Mars. I was waiting on the edge of my seat for this stunning location to open up for nearly a month, and as soon as it did I knew I had to put together an outfit to match its style and elegance. I decided to reflect my favorite area, the beautiful Panama Pacific courtyard, with a touch of old-world detailing combined with chic and clean modern lines.

  • I chose the printed version of Role's ribbon-detailed tube dress which I profiled on Monday specifically because of the gold damask on the dress' front panel. This print is a very classic and ornate one that gives this version of their dress a completely different feel from the other variations available. The neutral tones show a strong European influence that seems very at home surrounded by marble columns and impassive statues.
  • I paired the dress with a pair of richly colored dark boots from Mako Magellan in Caledonia (Blink Teleport here). A pair of basic black stilettos would work just as well if you want a slightly simpler look.
  • Long straight hair is a must have, and I've opted for one of my favorite styles from Tirion Designs in Tharsis Estates.
  • For makeup, I've layered a matte nude lip color over the default Blue Mars skin, and added some simple black eyeshadow around the eyes. I've also made my usual eyeliner layer much more transparent so they eyes look relatively bright and open. Add some slim, groomed eyebrows and you're ready for a leisurely stroll around the grounds!
What would you wear in Blue Mars' most fashionable city? Leave a comment, or send me an email!
