I wrote about the immersive qualify of flying in Blue Mars last week, but it's really something you need to experience for yourself. Or at the very least, watch this video, making sure your volume is turned up high, to float in all the wonderful ambient sound. For tech/machinima geeks, I shot this with FRAPS, a great machinima tool, running it on my new Alienware M11x notebook, which I love. Pretty good performance for a relatively low budget machine.
