The latest update to Blue Mars includes a pretty cool feature: Now when new content is added to a Blue Mars city, the date of the additions/changes are indicated in the Places page. That way, if you haven't visited a given city in awhile, you'll know if new or revised content has been added since then. Almost like an RSS for 3D places. More release notes here.
